Dr. Qualls has extensive experience in emergency medicine,
dermatology, radiology, and internal medicine. He strives to keep
up with the latest technologies and treatments available for you
and your pets. Dr. Qualls also has a good working relationship with
several veterinary specialists in the Jacksonville area who are
board certified in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalomology,
Neurology, and Dermatology, should your pet require referral for a
specialized diagnostic or treatment procedure.
Dunn Avenue Animal Hospital was one of the first veterinary
hospitals in Florida to offer CO2 laser surgery. Dr Qualls has
attended extensive continuing education courses to help improve and
perfect his surgical expertise with the surgical laser. Dr. Qualls
was also invited by the Luxar/Accuvet Laser Company to help
introduce other veterinarians to CO2 laser surgery, during the
hands on "wet lab", at this years North American Veterinary
Conference, the largest veterinary conference held in the
world.
